Internship student: CPS has been involved in the facilitation of the third year psychology students to find opportunities for their internship within other organization. This is a continuous action as doing internship is the first step for the student to try-out and put into practice what they have learn during their classes into the society.

Informing job opportunity: Once people become a member of CPS their email addresses are included in the mailing list. Any job vacancy/announcement is always sent to all members.

Meeting: Since the creation of the association there was only one full member meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to create an opportunity for graduated psychologists to share their counseling experiences in Cambodia and to assess the further needs. Ideally we would like to have meetings with all members every three months in order to exchange experiences.

Training workshop: CPS collaboration with psychology department and other practitioners to organized training workshop related to counseling skill, best practice and for learning and sharing as well.

Documentation: CPS sets up a library and website by collecting psychology books, and other related documents to pose in our own web which allow all students access it, download and link to local website and regional for student’s capacity development.

Networking and collaboration: As part of our informal collaboration with local NGO working in psychology field, CPS members have had the opportunity to be part of the technical group working to include concepts of mental health care into the curriculum of the government secondary schools of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, and also apart of technical working groups on HIV/AIDS, drug addicted treatment, children difficult circumstance, and community development… As part of our informal collaboration with local NGO and practitioners in Cambodia, CPS member has collaborated with regional to build and maintains relation for sharing knowledge and skill for Cambodian psychology student’s captaincy.
